What is inside?
Incense
Frankincense oil – due to its intense aroma, one of the most valuable oils – is often called the "king" of essential oils. Centuries ago, the ancient Egyptians used frankincense resin for everything: from perfumes to body balms. Thanks to its soothing and beautifying properties, it can rejuvenate the skin, and when applied topically, it can reduce imperfections.
Naio tree
The oil from the naio tree, native to Hawaii, is sustainably sourced from trees growing alongside the beloved ’Iliahi (Hawaiian sandalwood). It is obtained in the Kealakekua Mountain Reserve, a location supported by the doTERRA Co-Impact Sourcing™ initiative and home to the largest reforestation project in Hawaii's history. The oil is extracted through steam distillation from the woody part of the tree. It is characterized by a rich content of alpha-bisabolol and an earthy, sweet, captivating aroma. When applied topically, it can soothe minor skin irritations and reduce the appearance of imperfections.

The Boswellia species, from which frankincense essential oil is obtained, grows on various soils and in different regions. As part of the doTERRA Co-Impact Sourcing™ initiative, we strive to alleviate supply pressures and develop sustainable harvesting solutions with the future in mind. Our sourcing partner has planted over 20,000 Boswellia sacra trees in Oman since 2016.
