The petitgrain essential oil is derived from the bitter orange tree, which has been used in traditional healing practices for centuries. In the past, petitgrain essential oil was used for cleaning purposes. However, emerging scientific evidence confirms many additional uses and benefits of petitgrain oil. Among other things, it provides a feeling of relaxation and reduces the visibility of skin imperfections. Petitgrain oil is commonly used in the perfume industry due to its fresh, herbal aroma. Petitgrain oil is also a great companion for lavender essential oil, as they share many similar benefits.
