dōTERRA Vetiver | Vetiver Oil

Vetiver, a member of the grass family, is cultivated for many reasons. Unlike other grasses, the root system of vetiver grows deep, making it ideal for preventing erosion and providing soil stabilization. Vetiver has a rich, exotic, complex aroma that is widely used in perfumes. Due to its calming, grounding scent, vetiver is an ideal massage oil. It can also be rubbed into the feet before sleep to create a peaceful sleeping environment.

How to use

• Apply 2-3 drops on the neck or on the heart to achieve a feeling of calm and tranquility.
• Take a warm bath with a few drops of Vetiver essential oil for deep relaxation.
• Spray with Lavender, Serenity ™ or Balance ^® to obtain a soothing aroma.
• Use a toothpick to get the desired amount from the container if the Vetiver is too thick to come out of the bottle. It's a bit of a long way.

Usage instructions

Topical use: Apply one or two drops to the selected area. Dilute with doTERRA fractionated coconut oil to minimize skin sensitivity. Aromatic application: Use three to four drops in your chosen diffuser.

Contraindications

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for 12 hours after applying the product.
